Pictures of people taking pictures...

Came across a beautiful shot my friend James Wilkes [his site will be back up this summer] took of me in 2006 while on a 2 month trip around the center of South America. My scanner's broken so I took a picture of a picture of James taking a picture of me taking a picture so I could share it... Uh, yeah.

It reminded me of a series I shot back in 2004 while I was in Barcelona, Spain during an Artist Residency at Canserrat. 

Don't know why, but I never showed it to anyone.

I was interested in how people looked while taking photos. A posture that is reserved solely for camera holding. Something I've been thinking about exploring more since everyone is a photographer these days...
